The New Jersey Independent South Asian Cine Fest (NJISACF) film festival is run solely by volunteers. We are IT professionals, students, teachers, filmmakers, medical doctors, and artists who share a love for independent filmmaking and filmmakers. No matter what your background, no matter what your experiences and expertise are, you will be vital to the planning, running and success of this festival. Making phone calls, fund-raising, marketing, event planning or distributing flyers – whatever you do, you can get them accomplished by donating only a few hours of your time during the week in the coming months.

As a volunteer, you will

• through the powerful medium of film, make a significant cultural contribution by promoting and encouraging cross-cultural dialog and understanding
• get to meet and hear from filmmakers, producers, distributors, and media personalities
• get a free pass to all the film screenings at the festival and to all the pre and post-festival events.
